A G O massive party

my friend Dan got me involved in painting these walls for the Art Gallery of Ontario's annual massive party -at the CNE fairgrounds. the theme this year was 'vanities and vandals' so Dan and i teamed up . his medium of choice is wheatpaste. as well as photography. a fun and innovative collaboration.





i had just decided to take a couple month break from drinking before we did this so to arrive at this fancy all-you-can-drink catered party was a real test of will. the orange juice was good. food was great.

i found 15 full cans at the back end of this truck when i went to scope it out...all just laying there in cardboard 6-packs in shopping bags. All full. some kid must have ran from cops or who knows?. if it was the police why would they not confiscate the paint though?.it completely made my day as i shook my head laughing in disbelief. i came back and painted this. neither that kid or the police deserved such nice colors

20 minute hike to get to this spot. It was the best..i can't even tell you how huge, how good or where it is..or i won't
-of course kwest paints so big it won't even fit in the frame

....Ontario has the best under-a-bridge racial slur graffiti ever. top notch work up there..

this is the first wall for the year i got to paint in the warm sunshine. i really like how this one turned out..

at the beginning of march i was contacted to do a series of floral backdrops in storefront windows for the yorkdale mall Holt Renfrew..one of the best paying art jobs i've had to date!. worked out nice and timely fashioned
